Gas storage facilities and end-customers
How do I book transmission capacity from/to gas storage facilities and end-customers’ offtake points?
The transmission capacity to gas storage facilities is booked online via the CAMS system. Please note that the transmission capacity to gas storage is different from storage injection/withdrawal/WGV capacity, which is booked via auctions organized by the respective Storage System Operator (SSO) and for which a contract with the SSO is needed. The transmission capacity to directly connected end-customers is booked online via the CAMS system.
What types of gas storage facilities and end-customers’ offtake points capacity products does NET4GAS offer?
For a virtual gas storage point, NET4GAS offers monthly, daily, day-ahead and within-day products. In accordance with Arts. 10 and 11 of the Gas Market Rules, capacities might be booked up to the period of the upcoming 31 gas days from the day of booking for daily, and 60 months for monthly, capacities.
For end-customers’ offtake point directly connected to the transmission system, products are offered for an indefinite period of time as well as with rolling, monthly, daily, day-ahead, and within-day durations. Detailed conditions are stated in Article 9, paragraph 5 of the Gas Market Rules.
