NET4GAS Appoints Michal Slabý as Managing Director

• Prague, 2 April 2025 - Michal Slabý has been appointed as Managing Director effective as of 1 April 2025, following a selection procedure organized by the NET4GAS, s.r.o., Supervisory Board. In his role, he will act as the statutory body responsible for the company's management. With Slabý's appointment, all top positions in the management of NET4GAS, the Czech national transmission system operator, have now been filled.

Since entering the gas sector in 1999, the professional career of Michal Slabý has mainly revolved around gas procurement and trading. He started out with Transgas, a.s. in the department responsible for purchasing gas from Norway, and later served 10 years with the E.ON Group companies, as Head of Gas Procurement at E.ON Energie in the Czech Republic and Project Manager at E.ON Energie AG in Munich, Germany. During his subsequent tenure with the MND Group, he was mainly tasked with storage capacity trading. Since joining NET4GAS in 2016, Slabý has held various positions, most recently serving as Head of Strategy. In addition, he was appointed as the company's proxy on 1 October 2024.

The entire gas industry and the energy supply sector are as a whole undergoing a fundamental transformation. Together with my colleagues, I will do my very best to ensure that NET4GAS continues to play a key role in securing safe and reliable supplies of natural gas to both existing and new customers. At the same time, we will continue preparing for the future use of low-emission gases, hydrogen in particular," said Slabý in commenting on his appointment.
